Welcome to Urban Spaces and Urban Policies, one of the Optional Courses within the African Studies Masters Programme at Dalarna University. It is a literature/reading course which means that it can be taken online and does not require any teaching and physical presence at Dalarna University in Falun, Sweden. Please note: if you wish to take a course where teaching is included, there are other courses available. The course runs from Monday, February 23 to Sunday, March 29, with a time frame that may be extended if first negotiated with the course supervisor. Nonetheless, the final deadline for submitting examination papers is Friday, June 6 at noon (see dropbox under "Modules"). After consultation with the course supervisor, the reading list may partly be modified in line with the student’s individual research interest and plans for a forthcoming African Studies MA thesis.
