Welcome to English ll for Teacher Education Students at Dalarna University!   

You are now in the room för Språkdidaktik II (6 credits). Until you register for your course, you will only be able to see certain information about your course and your first weeks of study.    

GEN3CM - English II for Teacher Education Students

The course is offered as

• • a part of the Subject Teacher Programme
  • an elective (fristående) course 

After you register in your course, you will have full access to information in Modules here on Canvas. 

English ll for teachers (GEN3CM) includes the following three courses:

• GEN3E7: British and American Literature and Ideas (12 credits)*
• GEN3E6: Introduction to English Linguistics (12 credits) *
• Språkdidaktik ll (6 credits) 
• Both British and American Literature and Ideas (GEN3E7) and Introduction to English Linguistics (GEN3C4) have their own Canvas rooms.
• For Språkdidaktik ll, we will use this course room on Canvas for (GEN3CM).
• As a teacher student in this course, you must have access to and follow all information in these three Canvas rooms.
• If you are taking the course as an elective, you must follow information in the Canvas room/s for the course module/s you study.

 We hope you engage in inspiring, interesting, and challenging discussions with your teachers and fellow students. As with all courses at Dalarna University, this course has a strong foundation in theory and research.
An important feature in the design of the course is that it connects theory with practice.
Due to the broad scope of the course, it is impossible to go into depth on all topics, but we hope that what you learn will inspire interest and help you develop the tools you need in your continued professional development as a language teacher.
