Welcome to the doctoral course Academic Writing and Speaking in English!

The course consists of five meetings which can be seen as mixed lectures/seminars/workshops (see timetable below). In the attached schedule you will find instructions for each of them.

All required reading material will be available on our webpage, except one of the course books: Swales, John M. & Feak, Christine. (2012). Academic Writing for Graduate Students: Essential Tasks and Skills. Ann Arbor: University of Michigan Press. [third edition]. You can find it at online bookstores, libraries, or from previous doctoral students.

Before we meet on 18 March, please make sure that you have registered for the course so that you will have access to the course webpage on Canvas. Registration opens two weeks before. https://www.du.se/sv/studentwebb/under-studierna/registrering/

We look forward to meeting you on campus or on Zoom in March!
