Welcome to Event tourism - planning, marketing, evaluation at Dalarna University

The focus of this course is understanding planning, marketing and evaluation of events in a tourism context. Of particular relevance is engagement with contemporary research in the field of event tourism (and events as phenomena). The course includes critical engagement with special event research followed by an opportunity to use this learning to work on specific problems in collaboration with destination stakeholders in the context of sports and/or cultural events.
