Welcome to Applied Project in Tourism at Dalarna University

In this course students will work on an applied project in collaboration with a company/organisation. The aim of the course is to link theory with practice and contribute to transferable skills such as ability to collaborate, understand and work towards the needs of a company/organisation, organise and plan the work, report in oral and written forms, gain practical knowledge of how the work in tourism related organisations and companies. Very importantly, the course aims to enable student to use the knowledge they have developed during their studies in an applied project in the field of tourism and reflect on the linkages between theory and practice.
