Welcome to "International Business and Marketing" at Dalarna University

In today’s interconnected world, businesses face both opportunities and challenges as they conduct business across borders. This course invites you to explore the dynamics of international markets and to deepen your knowledge of marketing theories and methods with a focus on global trade.

Together, we will analyze how companies develop strategies for entering and operating in foreign markets, examine the organization of international marketing, and discuss how changing market systems influence business decisions. Special attention will be given to the role of product characteristics, market forces, and the implications of current trends in the global market.

By the end of the course, you will not only master key theoretical perspectives but also develop the analytical skills needed to evaluate international markets and propose design of marketing strategies. Also important, we'll take a critical look at ethical matters in the light of current global trends that shape businesses and marketing practices.
