Course syllabus
Welcome to the master course "Processes of Democracy and Autocracy", 7.5 credits, DU
(Part of the master programme: Democracy, Citizenship and Change)
This course introduces key theoretical and methodological approaches and empirical results in the field of democratisation and autocracy research. The course provides a rich selection of literature, and the student will be assigned to critically review results and applied methods as well as independently address scientific problems within this subfield.
The course is entirely web-based but includes mandatory real-time online seminars. The language of instruction is English. Recorded material will be made available on this learning platform, and Zoom will be used for digital meetings.
