Welcome to "Globalisation: Meanings and consequences" at Dalarna University

In this course we introduce and examine the concept of globalisation by reflecting on its meaning and consequences. We will look at the challenges of global transformation and of global integration. As part of the course, we will also seek to understand the different perspectives on the significance and consequences of globalisation for the state, nation and the individual. These aspects are examined in order to highlight the multifaceted dimensions of the concept.
