The main aim of this course is to offer you an opportunity to prepare a plan for a research project within Intercultural Literature Studies. It will function as a preparatory study for your MA thesis within this field. Throughout the course, you will work on this project plan, which will offer a background to your topic, reviews of earlier research, critical discussion and development of a theoretical and methodological framework, and a description of the literary works you intend to study. Writing such a research plan will also give you thorough practice in the writing of academic texts.
