Welcome to "Portuguese: Phonetics and Oral Proficiency" at Dalarna University
The lessons in this course will be taught entirely online (net-based).
This course is intended primarily for students taking the Portuguese courses at Dalarna University.
When you take this course, you will study the following:
Portuguese phonetics and pronunciation and differences between various language varieties are discussed through, for example, the watching of films in Portuguese from different continents.
An important feature in the design of the course is that it connects theory with practice. Oral proficiency and listening comprehension are practised in conversational exercises, oral presentations and film viewings. The language of instruction is Portuguese, and Swedish and/or English are used as support languages.
