Welcome to Urban Spaces and Urban Policies, one of the Optional Courses within the African Studies Masters Programme at Dalarna University. It is a literature/reading course which means that it can be taken online and may, where applicable, not require any teaching and physical presence at Dalarna University in Falun, Sweden. The course runs from Monday, February 24 to Friday, March 28, with a time frame that may be extended if first negotiated with the course supervisor. Nonetheless, the final deadline for submitting examination papers is Friday, June 6 at noon (see dropbox under "Modules"). After consultation with the course supervisor, the reading list may partly be modified in line with the student’s individual research interest and plans for a forthcoming African Studies MA thesis.
