Welcome to English l for Teacher Education Students at Dalarna University!
This course is based in Falun with most of your lessons taking place online. Occasionally, recorded material will be offered via our learning platform with all digital meetings held via Zoom.
- There will be a course introduction on Tuesday, January 21st, 10.30 - 11.30 am in Zoom. https://du-se.zoom.us/j/65950567274
- Introduction to general English I courses will be on Wednesday, January 22nd, 11 am, via Zoom https://du-se.zoom.us/my/samtal101 Teacher students must also attend this introduction.

During this course you will study the following modules (delkurser):

- Introduction to Academic English (GEN35D) - 6 credits
- The Structure of Modern English (GEN2VF) - 9 credits
- Literature In English - 9 credits (see below for information from the course teacher)
- Language Learning and Teaching (Språkdidaktik a) - 6 credits or
- Language Learning and Teaching (Språkdidaktik b) - 6 credits
NOTE! Only program students who study French, Spanish or German as their first subject will take språkdidaktik b.
You must have access to Canvas rooms for GEN379, GEN2VF and GEN35D in order to study your courses.
