Welcome to study "Russian II: Grammar and Written Language Proficiency", 10 credits, at Dalarna University! 

Upon completing the course, you will be able to:

  • use basic grammatical concepts and analyze and explain the grammatical structure of sentences and simple texts
  • demonstrate basic knowledge of word formation in Russian by practically applying relevant word formation rules
  • describe and apply Russian aspect doctrine
  • explain Russian cases based on their semantic and syntactic features and identify and use commonly occurring patterns of conjugation
  • write short texts on everyday topics in Russian and translate simple texts from Swedish/English to Russian.

We have no physical meetings in Falun, the course is completely web-based with obligatory online seminars in real time. 

The rollcall takes place via Zoom on Monday, January 20, at 16:30. The link to the Zoom-meeting is available below.

For participation in the seminars, you will need a headset with a microphone and a web-camera. It is compulsory to use webcam during online seminars. Please, check if your microphone and headset work in good time before the seminar. If you have any problems, contact  Supportcafé in Zoom.

Time: The seminars will take place on Mondays at 16:30 - 18:00. See the detailed timetable below.

The attendance is obligatory, and for the seminars to fulfill their purpose, everyone is expected to come to the meeting having done the assigned homework.
