Course syllabus
Welcome to Portuguese: Oral Proficiency II at Dalarna University
This course builds on the course "Portuguese: Phonetics and Oral Language Proficiency I" and consists of the study of Portuguese pronunciation and oral proficiency. The course focuses on exercises in interactive forms to improve listening comprehension as well as speaking proficiency. The students work with prepared and unprepared conversational training and oral presentations based on different media, as news, audio books and film.
Preliminary Information
You are now in your course room. Until you register in your course, you will only be able to enter this room and log in as a guest. As a guest, you can access certain information about your course and your first weeks of study. Registration to the course opens on week 2.
Study Format
Your course will be taught, as usual, entirely online (net-based).
Be Ready to Start your Studies
Throughout your studies, you will use Canvas, which is the name of this learning platform. In each room, you will find teaching material and other information about that specific course. You will also find your schedule in your course room and a list of the course literature that you will be using during the semester. After you register in your course, you will have full access to our learning platform Canvas.
Start of the Course
The course will start on week 4, with our first session on Monday, 20/01, at 18.00, online (net-based) via Zoom. Make sure to check Announcements for updated information and messages.
