Welcome to the course Organisational Change and Leadership at Dalarna University
You are most welcome! This course offers a multidisciplinary perspective on the dynamic world of organizational transformation. Here, you’ll learn to identify and conceptualize the driving forces behind organizational change within various contexts.
We’ll explore different types of organizations as potential venues for change, and you will be asked to examine the ethical and sustainability implications of these transformations. Through engaging case studies, you’ll enhance your understanding and readiness to tackle similar challenges in real-world scenarios.
Throughout the course and our seminars, we’ll focus on key themes such as structure, process, participation, influence, organizational learning, leadership, and sustainability. Through this course and its assignments we hope to equip you with the knowledge and skills to navigate and lead change effectively.
In this course, as well as in other courses at Dalarna University, we view group work as an important resource in all course activities. Learning how to work together in a team is important and something that can help you to develop the tools needed for your future career. Here you learn to "walk the talk".
