• Learn the Fundamentals of Routing and Switching: Understand how data is directed and managed across networks through various routing protocols and switching mechanisms.
• Explore Network Configurations: Gain hands-on experience in configuring and troubleshooting routers and switches in simulated environments.
• Develop Practical Skills: Engage in lab exercises and projects that mimic real-world scenarios, enhancing your ability to manage and optimise network performance.

• Introduction to Networking Concepts: Understand the basic concepts of networking, including the OSI model, TCP/IP protocol suite, and network topologies.

• Switching Technologies: Explore VLANs, trunking, spanning tree protocol, and other key concepts in switching.
• Network Security: Get introduced to essential security practices to protect network infrastructure.
• Hands-on Labs: Participate in practical labs using real equipment at campus Borlänge together with practising on simulation tools like Cisco Packet Tracer, enabling you to apply theoretical knowledge.
