Welcome to "Japanese 2: Language Proficiency 2

(GJP2N2)" at Dalarna University!

The course GJP2N2 begins in week 46 and ends in week 3, covering chapters 19-23 of Genki 2. (Japanese 2 consists of two courses, GJP2MZ and GJP2N2. GJP2N2 begins right after GJP2MZ.)  There are no physical meetings on campus, but the course requires your attendance with a webcam and headset in web-based lessons and group work activities via "Zoom" every week. In this course, you will work with both spoken and written language.

We use the 3rd edition of Genki 2 and complimentary materials will not be provided for those who do not have the latest edition.

 

Seminar Schedule HT24

Online seminars will be held on Mondays @10:00-11:30, Tuesdays @10:00-11:30 and Thursdays @10:00-12:00 in GJP2N2.  Please check the schedule in TimeEdit (To be uploaded here later).  *The first lesson will be held on Monday, November 11 @10:00-12:00, beginning with a brief course guidance and grammar lesson of chapter 19.

Further information about the course will be published in this course room about two weeks before the course starts. It is important to register early, as some practical information and course materials are accessible only after registration. Once registered, please read all necessary course information available under Modules on the left menu bar before attending the first lesson. Check also your webcam and headset to ensure you can actively participate in the Zoom classroom before the first lesson.
