The programme will be taught at Campus Borlänge with a parallel online alternative for distance students. We will have students from all corners of the world and many different backgrounds, which is great for the study atmosphere.

Prepare for your studies  

Your curriculum is divided into different courses, each course has its own course room. Within every course room, you can find teaching materials and other information about the courses included in your programme. The course room also has a schedule and a list of the course literature that you should obtain before the course starts. You can borrow books from the library, or buy the course literature via a bookstore, or from previous students. Most of the course books are available in the library as online e-books where you can download a certain number of pages.   

Once you have registered for your education, you will have full access to Canvas and the library.

Your program's first courses:  

Solar Radiation and Solar Geometry (Mats Rönnelid mrd@du.se)  

This course will be held on-campus and is joint with the Solar masters programme. The lectures will be recorded for distance students.

Written exam will be on campus. It is possible to do the exam at "annan ort" (another univeristy or embassy) but this has to be arranged by you as a student 

Energy-Efficient Buildings (Xingxing Zhang xza@du.se) 

This course will be taught online in zoom with interactive seminars and exercises. A study room will be available at campus for group work. The lectures will also be recorded.

Introduction to Bio-Climatic Design (Jonn Are Myhren jam@du.se) 

This course will be ”hybrid“ which means students at campus and online students meet in interactive seminars and exercises. A study room will be available at campus for group work. 

Please note! The first two weeks are hectic. It is wise to prepare, and for those of you moving to Dalarna, get settled and acclimatized before the programme starts.
