Welcome to Implementing Strategies for Quality Improvements in Health Care Settings at Dalarna University


All lessons in this course will be taught via digital meetings on Zoom Samtalsrum228 (zoom)


This course is intended primarily for students taking the Master’s Programme in Sexual, Reproductive, and Perinatal Health.
When you take this course, you will study the following:
 

  • Show knowledge of evidence-based quality improvement (QI) methodology in health care settings
  • Argue for strengths and weaknesses for different measurement methods in quality development and improvement work in health care
  • Analyse and reflect on different quality improvement implementation strategies and its use in health care
  • Show scientific precision through written text


 
You will improve your skills in these areas:

  • Engaging in practical exercises that simulate real-world health care scenarios, allowing yourself to apply theoretical knowledge.
  • Collaborating via peer reviewed projects to develop critical thinking skills and apply your knowledge to your peers' quality improvement scenarios.
  • Practice interviewing and presentation skills to deepen your understanding of the course content.
